Happy Friday loves! I am counting the days until Easter and to when I start my new job. I have become less stressed and pampering myself now and again is really doing me a lot of good!!
I was supposed to write this blog post last weekend but I have been mad busy hence why these pampering sessions are much needed so kindly accept my apologies for the delayed post 🙈
I actually had fun as I scared the family with this, even the dog. I’ve used the Wet facemask before but not the Dry one. I have heard good reviews on the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask and how it looks scary so I thought I’d give it a try.👽
At first I was a bit reluctant, but I followed the instructions and waited to see the results.
- I cleansed my skin first and then unfolded the dry sheet mask, placing the pink side onto my skin.
- You then have to loop the top hooks over your ears, making sure the mask is positioned correctly over your face.
- You then have to loop the bottom hooks over your face, and then smooth out the mask.
- Then massage gently on top to activate the dry mask. Leave on for 15 minutes.
I could have smoothed mine out a little more but for my first attempt, I think it went well. I could feel a little tingle, and then when I removed the mask, it was like an oil or cream film covered my face.
It did feel smooth however, I didn’t get that fresh rejuvenated feeling that you get when you use a wet mask.
Personally, I don’t think anything beats the freshness of soap and water and because of that, I would use the Wet Clay Mask any day over the dry but, the Dry Mask is mess free, light, quick and easy. It can also be used upto 3 times so it depends on what type of person you are or where you’re going.
If you want a quick mess free facial then yes the Dry Mask is your friend, but if you like the long pampering, mushy massaging facial then the Wet Clay Mask is for you.
Have any of you tried any of these masks? Which one would you choose if you could only pick one?
